During the first cutscene just hold the right stick up and mash A or B until Mario jumps.

Then you just hold ZL and shake the controller. You should bonk against a wall. After the bonk you do a Backflip + Dive to get on to of the path. Then you walk up left for like a second and then neutral roll again. You should reach the Cappy custcene.
